Department of Energy Engineering

 The Energy Engineering Department has started in the year 2021 with an intake of 60 students. This is the first University in the North Karnataka to start this course. The mission of the department is to educate students to become globally competent. The Department of Energy Engineering shares the vision and mission of the institution in imparting quality education to the students. The department has a dedicated, highly experienced and motivated team of faculty members.

  . All the staff members are postgraduate and some are pursuing Ph.D. Faculty members regularly attend technical seminars and workshops organized by various technical institutes, and many of them have presented papers in National and International conferences and seminars. The department has organisedTwo days National webinar on “Energy Audit and Electric Vehicles.

Mission

 Educating students for professional competencies in the area of Energy sector by imbibing research activities, analytical skills and motivating culture of continuous learning for solving real time problems using modern tools.

The graduates of the program should be able to
PSO 1: Implement the fundamentals Energy Engineering knowledge to solve industrial and societal problems.
PSO 2: Design and analyze basic Energy Engineering systems using relevant modern tools and methods.
PSO3: Comprehend and address contemporary issues of industries through alumni networks and Industry Institution Interactions.

PEO 1: Obtain core ability in Mathematics, Applied Science and Energy Engineering basics to top in higher studies and professional career.
PEO 2: Design, analyze and examine the Energy Engineering systems, which are beneficial to the society.
